If elected, I will support the P-Patch community gardening program by ensuring existing codes don't create unnecessary barriers to would-be growers and ensuring development doesn't undo the progress we've made for urban agriculture in our City.

What would you do to resolve the immediate threat to Ballard P-Patch?
Short-term, I think City Council should contribute dollars through the General Fund to retain the Ballard P-Patch. Long-term, I think the City should establish a fund to retain P-Patches throughout the City should an issue like this come up again.
Do you support requiring the Park District to pass administration of P-Patch Rejuvenation Funds to the Department of Neighborhoods and the P-Patch Program?
